Types of services
Road transport has always been the core business of our company. Thanks to a fleet of 50 vehicle units and an extensive network of commercial partners, we offer full truckload (FTL), groupage (LTL), and collection and distribution services throughout Europe.
Complete Load (FTL)
The Complete Load also known as Full Truckload (FTL) service is ideal for shipments with large volumes, offering a vehicle at the customer’s exclusive disposal. Goods are loaded at the shipper’s premises and transported directly to the final destination, ensuring secure and efficient delivery.
Groupage Load (LTL)
The Groupage service also known as Less Than Truckload service (LTL) combines shipments from different customers destined for the same geographical area, consolidating them at a sorting hub before final distribution.
This solution allows Setti Trasporti to optimize costs while maintaining high service quality, making it ideal for small and medium-volume shipments. For loads ranging from single packages up to 3.2 meters, we can reach all of France within 48 hours from the Lyon hub, with the possibility of extending the service to other European countries.
Special Transport
ADR
We provide ADR transport services with fully equipped vehicles and certified drivers, in compliance with current safety regulations. Our fleet is registered with the Italian Register of Environmental Managers (Albo Gestori Ambientali) and is authorised to transport non-hazardous special waste and municipal waste, both nationally and internationally.
BULK MATERIALS
We also provide bulk material transport services, including cereals, using walking floor semi-trailers to ensure efficient and flexible loading and unloading operations.
EXPRESS & ON-DEMAND TRANSPORT
We provide urgent and express transport services for time-critical shipments across Italy and Europe. We organise fast pick-ups and deliveries using dedicated vehicles, selecting the most suitable solution based on the type of goods, destination and required delivery times.
Our dedicated transport service ensures speed, flexibility and constant shipment monitoring, from collection through to final delivery.
Intermodal Transport
We provide intermodal rail transport services to and from Europe, handling loads of up to 44 tons on key European routes. This solution ensures service continuity even during road traffic restrictions, contributes to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, and allows for more efficient transport management in full compliance with current regulations.
Logistics
Our headquarters has a covered warehouse of 2,000 square meters for the logistics and redistribution of goods, within which up to about 2,500 suitably shelved pallets can be stored.
We offer our customers a goods storage service including:
- Video surveillance and alarm system
- Capture system for rodents, crawling and flying insects
- Personnel for the management of goods
- Administrative staff
- Supervision and control
- Handling equipment and storage equipment
- Insurance of goods for fire, theft and atmospheric damage
- Standard fire system
We also have a 13,000 square meters parking area.
