Our History
Setti Trasporti di Carlo Setti & C. snc was founded on 25 September 1993, building on the experience of a national transport company established in 1961 by Carlo Setti.
Our company is based in Castelnuovo Scrivia (AL), halfway between Milan and Genoa, in a strategic position for road freight transport and logistics. We provide international freight transport services for third parties, by road and intermodal solutions, both full truckload and groupage, using a fleet of approximately 125 vehicles: 50 road tractors, 57 curtain-sided semi-trailers measuring 13.60 metres, and 18 walking floor trailers.
We have a 2,000 sqm covered warehouse dedicated to goods logistics, as well as a 13,000 sqm parking area at our premises, available for both our own fleet and third-party vehicles.
Our strength lies in an efficient operational structure, supported by the direct involvement of the two managing partners in day-to-day field operations. This ensures reliability, quality and transparency in every service we provide.
1961
The company was founded by Carlo Setti as a national road transport business, with its first registration in the Italian Road Haulage Register on 18/05/1961. This marked the beginning of Setti Trasporti’s long-standing experience in freight transport services.
1993
The current company, Setti Trasporti di Carlo Setti & C. snc, was established with the entry of Carlo Setti’s sons, Liliano Setti and Graziano Setti. The company expanded its activities from national transport to international road transport, strengthening its presence in the European freight market.
2001
Setti Trasporti obtained its first ISO 9001 quality certification issued by AENOR, an important milestone in the development of structured, reliable and quality-oriented transport and logistics services for the international market.
2007
The company inaugurated its new operational headquarters, covering a total area of 13,000 sqm, including 2,000 sqm of covered warehouse space. This investment marked the beginning of integrated logistics activities, including warehousing, goods storage and logistics management.
2018
Setti Trasporti joined ASTRE, a European network of small and medium-sized transport and logistics companies, strengthening international cooperation and expanding its ability to offer reliable transport and logistics solutions across Europe.
2023
Setti Trasporti di Carlo Setti & C. snc celebrated 30 years of business activity.
